OTOTEK aka John lives in New Jersey, U.S.A and creates wonderful electronic music. John's music sounds like M83, Vangelis, Air, Depeche Mode, Giorgio Moroder, and Boards of Canada. John's influences are some of the artists that i just mentioned above with abit of new wave, 80's alternative, some movie scores and video game music. John uses mainly Fruity Loops as music software and Reason 3.0, and lots of hardware instruments such as acoustic guitars, lots of various Korg synthesizers, to home made instruments, kitchen accessories, to John's son's musical toys. It seems, nothing is wasted and everything is put to good use in creating sounds. OTOTEK releases an album on Parallax Sounds called EPICELECTRO! on the 10th November 2008 and it is highly recommended!
