OTOTEK - EPICELECTRO! (PS03)

OTOTEK's debut album release for Parallax Sounds is now available to buy from Monday 10th November 2008. EPICELECTRO! album is a great selection of music works. This album has a similar idea to what M83 has done on the Saturdays=Youth album. Purposely capturing the alternative 80's atmosphere. OTOTEK has decided to create a modern alternative 80's album. Inspired by those John Hughes alternative film soundtracks at the time and electro artists like Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis, Jan Hammer ect. There are some Boards of Canada influences aswell. Overall, this album is rather pleasing in an electronic way, lots of great electronic synth sounds. All the tracks are very catchy too! Tracklisting:
