RAINDEAR? - Raindear? are 2 music artists "Sergei Dmitriev" and "Danila Holodkov" and they both live in Saint Petersburg in Russia. They both create mellow, chilled out, folk, ambient, electronic and acoustic music. Raindear?'s artworks of translucent pencil sketches reflects in the music, like a sort of storytelling. Compositions are so fragile and delicate as if Raindear? are afraid to disturb the listener once again. Raindear?'s musical influences are mainly Icelandic artists such as Sigur Ros, Amiina, Mum, and Seabear. Sergei plays rhodes, melodika, synth and drum programming. Danila plays drums, synth, sampler, and glokenspiel. They have played their live shows in Russia. Unfortunately, Raindear? have split up and are no more. Sergei is continuing making ambient, folk, music under a different name of "Bedroom Bear" and is more shoegaze sounding. Raindear? have released a special limited edition ep on Parallax Sounds called "Sketches EP" with exclusive artworks and will be limited to 50 copies only, but the same release is also available as a free mp3 download aswell.
